I was in Windows 8.1 and doing normal tasks. These would imply that something happened to my BIOS, but I want to re-iterate that I was not flashing it, nor was I tinkering with it at the time of shutdown. In looking at the manual, it looks like this is the 'MSI LED' and there's only one status of 'on' which is 'debug'.see attached image. When I hold the power button down for about 10 seconds, I notice a blue LED flashing or blinking over and over on the motherboard. At the time, I noticed the CPU cores running at about 60-65C, so nothing completely crazy.

Today, under decent load with a video conversion in process, my system shut itself down. I completed a build a week ago and have been happily chugging along.
